BABY POISONED
DIS’I'RACTED MOTHER SUICIDES. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, iSept. 6. The baby son of Mrs Charles Word, of Mudgee, accidentally consumed strychnine and died. The mother was so distracted that she immediately killed herself with the same poison, leaving a letter for her husband in which she expressed great grief at the baby’s death.
