DOUBLE TRAGEDY
IN NORTH QUEENSLAND. (Australian Press. Association) (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 7. A Cairns report of a double tragedy at Alrington Downs Station, 75 miles from Georgetown, has been received by the police. A black boy brought news from Georgetown that Robert McDowell and his sister-in-law were found dead with gun-shot wounds in their bodies, in a paddock two miles from the hbmestead. The police have left for the scene.
