Vatbs to Australia anu .the Orient -has resulted in a cut of .five cents pert'Word off the full rate and three- and a half cents a Word off the 1 deferred rate to various points' in the Orient. Tolls to Honolulu are given a three cents cut off the full rate -an'd one half cents off the deferred rate. . Canadian'traders, urging a reduction to Australia, 1 contend that a .great trade - increase would follow. The whole question will he discussed ,ait the. forthcoming convention of the Chambers .of -Commerce and further representations will he made to the Government. ; v
