ADDINCTON BTOCK SALE. ’ • CHRISTCHURCH, September s. At yesterday.’s , sale . the following prices were, realised:—' ’ Fpt Cattle.—There was a very small yarding, only ,300 being forward, arid there was a,sharp rise all round. Steers sold; extra to £27 12s 6d,/ prime £l9 10s to £25, medium £l6 10s to £lB 10s, light down to £l4; heifers and' cows, extra to £2l 2s 6d ; heavy £6 10s/tp £l9 10s, prime £l4 to £l6, medium £l2 10s to £l3 15s, plain £9 10s to £l2j inferior down to £B.

Calves.—Thei*e was a small yarding, mostly of inferior ; sorts. Runners sold:-Extra to £lO Is, good vealers £5 to £6 3s 6d, medium £3 10s to £4 15s, small £2 to £3 ss, good calves £1 5a to 355, inferior 3s’6d to £l. ■'*, ' Fat Sheep.—There Vrere 500 yanledj 'i and prices were a/shade easier. Prime sorts -were on a par with last week. Store Sheep.—There was a small yarding. Hoggets were in good demand. ‘ Ewes were well up to last week’s prices. Two-tooth halfbred wethers sold to 26s 3d, six and efght tooth to 27s 3d; hoggets to 255,6 d, best half and three-quarter bred ewes from 36s to 40s, medium sound and failing mouth ewes 2os to 28s, old ewes 14s to 24 s.
