Grace Harmar, was between New Zealand and ..Cape Horn, Ronald Walker, an Australian journalist serving as a seaman, went on the top gallant yard to clear a fouled gasket, but the upper yard carried away and he was killed, instantly. His watch mates brought the body down with great difficulty. The body was buried at sea next day. Walker was formerly on the staff of. the Hobart “Mercury.”
