LOUGIIRAN’S REQUEST REFUSED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). NEW YORK, Sept. 3. Tho Athletic Commission of New York has refused the request ol Tommy'Loughran that the winner of the Sharkey-Loughran fight should be recognised as the world’s heavy weight champion and also that the bout be designated as for the United States championship.
