ROMA GAS FLOW

1,260,000 CUBIC FEET A DAY. A Brisbane message of August 19th stated: — It is reported that the average flow of gas from Roma Oil Corporation’s No. 1 well is 1,260,000 cubic feet per day. There is a slight increase in the recovery of natural oil from the well, and the small trickle of water is diminishing. Many lorry loads of drums were conveyed to the site during the week, and approximately 75 of them have been filled with gasoline produced by the absorption plant from the gas flow. The company has been busily engaged preparing storage tanks for the gasoline, several thousand gallons of which are on hand, and which, it is expected, will be placed in the market immediately.
