A DEBT CLAIM. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 2. May Santes a former storekeeper of Waitangi, Chatham Islands, and wife of a Waitangi sheepifarmer,.is pursuing a claim in the Supreme Cour for £92f 4s 2d from Piri Pomare, principally for goods supplied to his wife oyer a period of 20 years. Defendant, it is alleged, on 16th July .1927, admitted his indebtedness in £7BO on various grounds including overcharges and that the debt includes liqour for his wife.
