An apology for absence was made for Mr Williamson. ; ’ . The minutes were confirmed and corresondence outward.approved. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE. From Ross Club, asking permission to play Cobden Club,at Greymouth on August 31st.—Received. ■, From West Coast Rugby Union, , asking reason for Kiwi Club not fulfilling fixtures.—Received and referred to. Kiwi Club. From same re fixtures arranged and asking selector to attend on Saturday at Greymouth. From Rimu Club, asking Sub-Union’s advice on arrangement of fixtures.— keceived. It was resolved that the Arahura Club' be informed- that they, have a right to- accept a forfeit c-n last Saturday’s game, but that, if Arahura. desires to ■ replay game at Rimu, the Sub-Union mil sanction this course. Matches for Saturday, ,aug: 31st. ; . . Duller v. West Coast at Greymouth. ' Ross v. Cobden at Greymouth. . All junior matches for August 31st were postponed. It was rlsolved to submit the names of E. W. Heenan and A. Cutbush as referees for the Buller match. • N It was resolved to ask the W.C.R.U. to forward the McKechnie Cup to Hokitika and to have it engraved. ■ it was resolved that a committee consisting of Messrs’McGregor, Dowell, Staffoid. Cutbush, and McDonald wait on the W.C.R.U. this (Tuesday) night.
