A lengthy discussion occurred on the Wellington remit moved by E. W. Hunt .urging a revision of the Companies Act to Ibring it into line with the British Act. All members supported the revision and it was suggested a deputation wait on Cabinet and in that connection the matter was referred to thq, executive committee for immediate attention with power to act. It was decided the accountants convention to be held in Wellington next year should open on February 25th. A motion was carried that file' ex-, ecutive take' steps to • have introduced amendments to regulations in respect to the audit of solicitors’' trust accounts. b-' '•
