GORE, August 20.

Miss Isabella Russell, aged 63, of Gore, was found hanging in an outhouse yesterday. The deceased was in ill-health for some time. MORE FIRES IN CHRISTCHURCH. ' CHRISTCHURCH, August 26. The Sydenham Bowling Club’s pavilion in Brougham Street was gutted by lire at midnight last night under circumstnnoes which point to an incendiarist. The Fire Brigades were successful in saving the older, portion, where members have their lookers. Damage to this part will not be great, although the whole structure will have to be rebuilt. The Club records were lost.
