V’ Local surgeons supported Dr Barrett’s recommendation 1 for standard universal visual requirements for rail engineers and marine pilots. Hume Ford announced his plans for a second medical conference here in 1933, including the Far Eastern Tropical Medical Association, and the panAmerica, and Australian and New Zealand branches of the British Medical Association.
