PARLIAMENT
(By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, August 21. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. ’ Sir F. D. Bell gave notice of inten-; tion to move that the Council regrets that the recent report on the civil service and finance's of Samoa have been made without due regard’ to the principles which have hitherto been observed in the performance'of .the,duties undertaken by the Government when accepting the mandate over Western' 1 Samoa. .Hie Council adjourned at 2.40 p.m. until 28th August. THE HOUSE. . The House of Representatives met at 2.30. •The financial debate was continued by Messrs Hawke, McKeen, Waite, .Bodkin, Semple and Kyle. j The House rose at 10.30 p.m. ;
