“ A RENO DIVORCE ” TO-NIGHT.
To-night at the Princess Theatre, a special Warner Bros, production entitled “A Reno Divorce” will be presented. . “ A Reno Divorce ” is a daring comedy-drama qf ultra-modern life . 'and was. written by Ralph , Greaves, who also plays the lead and directs. • May McAvoy, the dainty and diminutive, essays a new type of character for her, and comes out with flying colours. / She is Carla, the reckless society deb, whose fate is changed by her speeding car, which knocks down a prepossessing and poverty-stricken young artist. Carla picks him up and takes him home to recuperate. A designing couple, lately divorced, arrive on the scene and then the swift tense drama begins to un'fold. In the cast are Hedda Hopper, Robert Ober, William Demarest, Anders Randolf, and Edwards Davis. “A Reno Divorce” . while having the elements melodrama manages to be uncannily true to life." The villain is not all bad nor the good people all good. Scenes in Southern California are especially.beautiful.
