DUNEDIN, Aug. 19,
On Friday the second .opossujn skin sale of the season was, held, and about 34,000 skins were offered by tlie eight selling brokers. Consignments from Gatlins district averaged 13s 6d to 17s 6d, Wyndham 12<? 6d to 15s 6d, Southland 11s 6d to 15s, North Canterbury 12s 6d to 16s, Nelson 13s 6d to ids," West Coast 12s 6d to 17s 3d, Taranaki 10s 6d to 14s 6d, Wanganui 11s 6d to 15s, Hawera 12s to I6sj Auckland 10s 6d to 15s, East Coast 11s to 14s, Wellington 13s 6d to 17s. The following is the range of prices for seconds up for average consignments : Blues 9s lid to 23s 2d, grevs t/s 3d to 18s lOd, reds 7s'to 14s 9d, small blues 10s lid to 23s 2d, grove 9s 3d to 18s lOd, reds 7= to 1.4 s 9rl, sip all blues and greys 4s'3d to '9s lOd. blacks 10s lid to 23s Id!' browns 9s Id .oj 15s 4d, slates 10s 3d to 15s 7d, small blacks 4s lid to 8s 7d.
