Amazjng sidelights on the underworld vendetta were revealed, at a Coroner's, inquiry to-day on Gunman George Gaffney, who was fatnlly shot outside the -home of James Levine at -vlnro'ubra, at midnight on July 38th, fas cabled). Gaffney had, according to tae evidence, previously shot Frank who had expresed his intention of carrying the feud ito the hi ter end. •Tames LP’Hne,,on whose behalf a plea of iustifiable homicide was made by hit so’icitor 10-day, was committed for trial in Peptember on a charge of murdering Gaffney.
