HOKITIKA GOLF CLUB. Following are the results of the first round of the Ladies Championship played on Saturday last:—• Miss Moore defeated Mrs Burns. Mrs Cooke defeated Mrs Baser. Mrs Neville defeated Mrs Williams. Miss King defeated Miss Lewis.
The second riMind will bo played on Saturday next, l7th inst. The medal match for August played by the Unearned Handicap Division was won by Mrs Colin Ross.
• The Monthly Bogey competition will bo played on Wednesday next, 21st inst. Play for both grades to be over 18 holes. Competitors to choose their own partners.
