ARAHURA FAt STOCK SALE.
Messrs M. Houston and Co. report; At the above sale yesterday our entry consisted of 34 head of fat cattle, which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The total entry at the sale was quite insufficient for butchers’ requirements, with the result that prices ruled very high, and several buyeis were unable to obtain their necessary fortnight’s supplies. Our principal entry consisted of a nice line of 22 prime medium weight bullocks fiom Mr H. N. Adamson, of Matainui, which made the good average of £l9 10s per head, equal to 55s per hundred. Wo sold as follows:—On account of H: W. Adamson 2 bullocks at £lB 12s 6d, 2 at £2O, 1 at £l9 ss, 2 at £l9 ss, 1 at £22, 1 at £l7 2s 6d, 2 at £l9 7,s fid, 1 at £l9 12s fid, 2 at £l9 15s, 2 at £l9 12s fid, 2 at £l9 ss, 2 at £2O, 2 at £2O, 1 sucker at £9, 1 at £lO 2s fid. On account of T. W. Butler, 1 bullock at £lO 17s fid. On account of J. W Graham, 1 heifer at £9 ss, 1 cow at £9 17s fid, 1 at £9 2s fid, 1 heifer at £7, 2 at £7 7s fid. On account of 1). Agnow, 1 cow at £8 2s fid, 1 at £7 7s fid, 1 stag at £B.
