WOMAN ROBBER. (Received this day at 11.25. a.m.) MELBOURNE, August 10. A woman masquerading as a man held up and robbed Mi’s Whittle, of Armadale, at revolver point. The robber took £5 stealing and made off.
INFLUENZA. SYDNEY, Auk. 10. Medical reports that pneumonic influenza has been discovered in the town of Ounce and is. causing alarm. Six deaths occurred in the past fortnight and four cases art in the hospital. Influenza is prevalent throughout the district.
