The death took place at the Grey River- Hospital- last evening of Gordon William Thomas {Ferguson, son of Mr and Mrs W. Ferguson. Deceased; who was 19’years of age, was a native of' Greymouth. and was employed by Messrs Anton and Thomson, electrical engineers. He recently underwent a severe operation from which he failed to recover. The late Mr Ferguson was a keen athlete and rifleman, and won the • Hutchison Shield for swimming, and the Godley Cup for shooting. He was also a prominent member ' of- ’• the .United Football Club. Resides his parents, he is also survived by two : brothers and a sister. The funeral will take place to-morrow. ■ ,v "
