ZEPPELIN ARRIVES. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyngnt). VANCOUVER, August 4. A message from Lakehurst, New Jersey, states that the Graf Zeppelin landed.there at 8.52 to-night. MAY VISIT NORTH POLE. i f NEW YORK, August 5. >: The Graf Zeppelin made its second westward trans-Atlantic commercial crossing, of approximately 5,331 miles, in' 95 hours, 23 minutes, against 111 hours, 46 minutes, for the first trip of miles.. The dirigible landed at Lakehurst with 19 passengers, and one unnamed stowaway, the crew of forty, and a • cargo of merchandise and mails. Immigration and customs inspectors first boarded the ship, after which the passengers > descended quietly before thousands of cheering spectators. ' Captain Eckener appeared pleased with .the easy landing at 9.53 p.m., - and -talked spiritedly with officials, rrj:. The .Graf Zeppelin will remain at the .hangar until 7th August, when she will begin her round-the-world flight from Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen, TokiOj Los Angeles, and Lakehurst, for ia*9,ooo-dollar fare. !<•. »; During the present visit Captain Eckener will consider plans for a round-the-world cruise in 1930, when the ship ■ will visit the North Pole.
