DRUNKEN AIRMAN
SENT TO GAUL. (United Press Association— By Electric Ye leg. ~ph—Copyright). LONDON, Aug. 2. Flying Officer Thomas was courtmartialled and sentenced to a year’s imprisonment for drunkenness, while making an unautnorised landing between Henslow and East Church on 3rd. May. The evidence showed that he landed at Hendon, consumed liquor, and crashed after his departure. Aircraftsman Mason jumped out and was killed.
