Mr Mason moved the second redding of the Defence Amendment Bill. Thh debate finished when the House adjournd at 5.30.
Sir Joseph .Ward presented the Bud get at 7.30. The House after a debate, adopted a resolution increasing the primage duty on all imports from one to two per cen 1 after August 1 1929. The House rose at 11.10 p.m.
