Italy is sending ten racing seaplanes for a final practice over the Schneider trophy course on the Solent and the three best performers are being selected for the race on September 7tli. It is reported the fastest of the Italian machines reached 360 miles, an hour in preliminary trials. One seaplane has engines, in the front and rear, totalling two thousand horse power, the pilot sitting between them.
