GREAT - BANK HOLD-UP. A daring hold-up of the East Orange Trust Company, in the busiest quarter of East Orange, N.Y., was carried out by six bandits in broad daylight. A policeman meanwhile directed the traffic just outside the doors and cars and pedestrians streamed past the windows in hundreds. The robbers had quickly horded the astonished clients together in one part of the bank, and the bank official in another part. All were compelled to remain with hands up while the bandits rapidly scooped up notes and silver amounting to 50,009 dollars (£10,000) into a black bag they had brought with them. So neatly was the hold-up executed that no one even had 'time to reach the automatic alarm with which the bank is provided. Only when every cent was gone and when the bandits were tearing down the sti-eet in a new blue closed car, did Dm policeman on duty become aware that something unusual occurred.
