DRUNKEN DRIVER FINED

WELLINGTON, July 27
Following a heavy bump into the .back of a stationary tramear, a lorry driver named Joseph Hensley Edge, 41 years, appeared in Court to-day charged with being drunk while in charge of a lorry. / Sub-Inspector Lande said the collision was a severe one. Although little damaged, the tramear, had to ibe jacked up to free the lorry. Recalling a similar charge against Edge last April, which had been dismissed, the Magistrate imposed a firue of £lO, defendant’s license to be suspended for three months.
