BANK HOLD-UP
£7OO TAKEN. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 29. During Saturday night a masked man entered the Commercial Bank of Australia at Griffith, in the irrigation area, bound and gagged the teller, and escaped with £7OO. During Sunday the police questioned a young man who suddenly produced a revolver and shot himself close to the heart. He was sent to the hospital where his dying depositions were taken.
