FLORENCE VIDOR TO-NIGHT. - The public would rather laugh than cry, declares Florence Vidcr, star of Paramount's “ The Magnificent Flirt,” being shown on the Princess Theatre screen’.this-(Saturday) evening. Miss Vidor plays the role of a flirtatious woman of wealth who gets the attention of a count, the uncle of the hoy who loves,.her daughter. The boy asks Miss Vidor for the girl’s hand, and she consents. -He is so happy that he kisses Miss Vidor. -This-kiss is seen by the count, who refuses to allow the boy to marry her daughter, as a result. The uncle does not know that it was liis own nephew he saw kissing Miss Vidor. The boy defends her and the count decides to put the “ magnificent flirt” to a test. Miss Vidor vindicates herself in a humorous manner. “ The Magnificent Flirt ” is a story of modern, gay, laughing Paris, set in the homes of \he wealthy and in the (famous cafes and cabarets. It is a peppery, fiery story, with situations that will bring gasps, ..The story was suggested by “ Mariian ” by Germain and Moncousin.
