N.S.W. STATEMENT.
(Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 25. At a deputation which waited on the Acting-Premier (Mr Buttenshaw) for relief work to absorb unemployed, D. McDonald (Superintendent of Pyrmont soup kitchen) said: “I have met hundreds of cases when men have been dying ifrom starvation. I lufve seen some collapse while waiting their turn for food.” Mr Buttenshaw promised to consult Cabinet.
