DOUBLE TRAGEDY
VICTIMS IN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES.

HAMILTON, July 24
The double tragedy at Hamilton on June 29th, when Ernest Edward,Lees and his wife were found dead from poison, at 1 the rear of their shop, was investigated at the inquest to-day. The evidence showed that the couple were in financial difficulties. The verdict was that the husband suicided, and the wife died of poison, but there was no evidence to show whether it was self-administered.
