PROHIBITION OF NEW ZEALAND POTATOES. (Australian Press Association) ... . SYDNEY, July 24.. Farm produce agents have received notice from the Director-General of Health that it is not proposed to make any alteration in the present regulations wliich prohibit the importation of New Zealand potatoes. Agents generally favour importation, claiming they prefer a steady trade at lower prices to irregular business as at present. TIMBER STRIKE LEADERS BEFORE COURT.
