Henderson, in the House of Commons, stated that the contribution payable by the British Government to the League of Nations, Including the 1 international Labour Organisation, during 1929, amounted to 2,703,000 gold francs, or £IOB,OOO. The contribution of the British Empire -as a whole in ' golu francs is 6,593,1000. The percentage of the League’s expenses payable by the British Government is 10.05 per cent./ and by'the British Empire as a whole 26.2 per cent.
