A Motlr plane piloted- bv Janies Branch, arrived over Mascot - Aerodrome'last night and circled for some time. As there was no light to indicate the landing ground, the pilot decided to land in the darkness. A strong wind however turned the plane completely over just as it alighted. Branch and bis mechanic were slightly injured.

Loudon passengers by the Imperial Airways cross-Channel aeroplane are loud in their praise of the pilot, who suddenly ran into a hurricane on Saturday afternoon. The pilot climbed to a height of 12,000 feet in order to escape it, but the plane was sadly buffeted, and the passengers were severely shaken. An air pocket caused one drop of a thousand feet. The aeroplane failed to reach Le Bourget, hut it made Brussels safely, arriving at Paris next morning.
