WOMEN FIGHT A DUEL. The first duel with foils ever fought by women took place in Budapest. Two beautiful Hungarian dancers, Mary Radvanny and Susanne Winghardt, were the principals. She exclaimed hysterically, “I cannot wear an evening dress any more.” Then she fainted. The adversaries parted without becoming reconciled.
