Further details of the bombing outrage, at Ivanhoe slioav that Constable Tierney was writing in the police station Avhen he Avas swept from his chair by the force of the explosion. A time fuse bomb Avas evidently used. No trace of the perpetrator Avas found. The explosion occurred at exactly the same spot Avhere on the night of 2fith May a bomb was thrown into the police station yard. The damage is more extensive than at first intimated. The premises Avere damaged, and the Avails in several cases were blown out. Other walls Were badly cracked.
