After a- most sensational trial of nineteen gipsies (who, as cabled on Juno 23rd. were charged with murder and cannibalism), fourteen of them were found guilty and they will be sentenced on Saturday. The prisoners were .utterly debased, 1 and they confessed to eold-blaod/lfl crimes with the .utmost callousness. The victims . were chiefly .of the .Je,wish pedlar class. Some of the crimes were entirely without purpose, except for 1 the gipsies’ desire for a cannibalistic orgy. . .. .. f, ;.
