SOUTHLAND FARMERS.
VISIT TO MASTERTON. MASTER-TON, July 17. A party of visiting Southland farmers who arrived in the Wairarapa on Tuesday afternoon were to-day taken on motor tours throughout lhe district and shown the places of interest. The Masterton quota of about 150 were entertained at luncheon ;.odny, a representative attendance of residents being 'present and extending a warm welcome. The visit was in every way a great success, fine weather adding to the enjoyment that was made possible by excellent organisation. All the visitors were grearlv pleased with the arrangements for their entertainment. The party bft later by train for Wellington.
