Mails which left Wellington on 18th June per Maunganui via San Francisco arrived at London on 17th July. Nurse Spring pays her usual weekly visit to Hokitika to-morrow. Messages requiring attention may be left with Mrs Geo. Perry, Hall Street. Arch. Little wish to notify the public of having opened out in the new. and up-to-date premises. Business as usual from to-morrow. —Advt. , Dr Valintine (Director-General of Health), Dr Mercer, and Mr H. W r .Johnston (Technical Inspector of the Health Department) were in Hokitika this morning and visited Westland hospital and the maternity home.
