MOTOR CYCLIST
KILLED BY MOTOR. * By Telegraph—Press Association). PALMERSTON NORTH, July 17. Walter Messenger, married, 56 years of age, and a freezing works employee, died at the Public Hospital tonight from injuries received in a motor accident. Messenger was riding a motor cycle across the intersection of Princess and Church Streets, when he collided with a car driven by H. E. Bergerson, of Palmerston. He was thrown heavily to the ground, sustaining severe injuries to the head, and he died in the hospital approximately three and a-lialf hours qjfter the accident. • .
