(United Press Association—By ElectricTelegraph—Copyright).
(Received this day at 11 a.m.) CAPETOWN, July 17
The Mexico arrived and reports no definite news df the Ivobenliaveil. The captain confirms the story from Halesius that the Kobenhaven passed Tristan on January 21st. The people of the island give the story reminiscent of that of the Marie Celeste, that onetopsail and one jib were set as she passed over. The sails were furled and there was no sign of life aboard. She seemed to be drifting on the. rocks and when the current swung her around she appeared to he in good condition.
