SYDNEY CRIMES
AN INCREASED NUMBER. (Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 16 Sydney’s crime wave continued during the past week. There were fiftyfour cases of robberies' of shops and dwellings. The list was increased by thirty miscellaneous thefts. Twentythree motors are reported to have bebn stolen. The police last night arrested five men believed to have been responsible for' car thefts. .Fifteen motorcycles and cars were recovered, soihe from dams and river beds, where they were thown when the gang became frightened,
