DIVINITY STUDENTS. AND MILITARY SERVICE. WELLINGTON, July 16. Qne Government’s decision with regard to the two objectors tov military service was announced by Sir Joseph Ward to-day. As the sentence stands it .would be improper, says Sir Joseph, to interfere with the course of the law an.d the decisions of the Magistrate would stand. Instruction would be issued, however, that in the future, students of divinity would have the right upon application to a Magistrate to obtain exemption from military service.
