TRIAL FOR FRAUD

(United Press Association.—ByElectrio Telegraph.--Copyright.) \ . * PARIS, July 12. .The trial began to-day of Herr Klotze, who has been seven times Finance Minister of France, and who was a signatory of the Treaty of Versailles, on charges of uttering cheques when he had insufficient means to meet them. He is also charged with issuing bills of exchange with false signatures. Klotze was pale and haggard. For the defence it was argued that he acted without any intent to defraud.
