SATURDAY’S GAMES. The senior competitions will be renewed on Saturday afternoon, a\ hen the Cass Square attraction will be a game between Excelsior and United (G reymouth). This should prove a decided attraction. The former are Well in their stride, and have a good compact team, while the latter hate also a good combination, their backs being fast and nippy. The game should be well worth watching. Other games are Kiwi v. Brunner at Brunner and Magpies and Stars at G reymouth.

JUNIOR KNOCK-OUT. A knock-out junior competition will also be commenced, the game Ifor Cass Square being between Kiwi and Excelsior teams. The new competition which will enttile the winners to hold the Breeze Shield for the year, should prove an attractive one, and the teams Will require to make their big effort to win, as one loss will prove a big handicap against final success. The <grounds promise to be in good order for play.
