The weather was fine, but the track was heavy and sticky, after a hard frost, for the second day of the Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting. The attendance was up to that on the corresponding day last year. The tote took £41,086, against last year’s £39,642|. Parliamentary Handicap.—(4) High Pitch 1, (2) Singleton 2, (7) Fairy Herald 3. Won by a length; three-quar-ters of a length. Time 2.24. Highweight Handicap.—(l) King’s Jest 1, (4) Aberfeldy 2, (5) Curtsey 3. Won by three lengths; a length. Time 2.425. Members’ Handicap.—(l) Kaiti 1, (2) Taboo 2, (3) Marble King 3.. Won by two lengths; half a length. Time 1.19*. Petone Handicap.—(2) Mark Mint 1, (1) Havering 2, (5) Taranto 3. Won by ifour lengths; {i length. Time 1.305.
