Stevenson will play Jv.es and Morgan will play Woolf. SUVA, July 11. The semi-finals of the open rinks in the Suva Bowling Carnival resulted as follows:—Stevenson’s rink (Rotorua) defeated Ives (New Zealand) 14-13. Fowkes (New Zealand) defeated Morgan (New Zealand) 20-14. The Pacific Singles Championship was started. Paget defeated Lederman (Victoria). DUNEDIN, July 10. It was decided that the next series of matches with Australia would take place in Australia at the Australian Bowling Carnival, following the one fixed to take place in Tasmania; that the number of rinks to participate be decided by the visiting country, hut such a number will be not less than four or more than six; that the next matches in Now Zealand he played in Duned’n before the Dominion Tournament in 1934.
The matter of adopting a; uniform scoring hoard was left to the executive. An invitation was received to attend the Centennial Carnival of Western Australian Association, and it was decided to notify centres accordingly. The Auckland remit to establish a benevolent fund for the relief of howlers’ widows, orphans and aged howlers was lost, and it was decided 4 notify the Australian Council that New Zetland considered iach country should have equal representation on the International Board. .
