At a meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Council, the Sub-Committee appointed to arrange: the tour, of- the Australian team reported having received a cable from the manager of tne Australian team asking that an extra player be allowed on account of the large programme. It was decided to agree to the request. The following referees tfere appointed ror the test matches’ against Australia : First Test at Wanganui—W. A. Scott vWellingtj.n). Second Test at Auckland— G. C. Waddington. Second referees for Test matches will be selected by the Australian teams.
