Miss Fxlna Johnston, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, frocked in daffodil georfete, with insets of silver lace, and Aipeven hemline. court, Koiterangi, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained at “Cartref,” by Mr and Mrs Johnston. The bride’s mother wore a frock of green floral crepe do chene, and carried a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. The bridegroom’s mother ore black georgette and lace, and carried a posy of violets. Later in the evening, the bride and bridegroom left by motor for Mount Cook and a tour of the Southern Lakes. The bride travelled in a beige jumper suit under a smart fur coat, with felt beret to tone. Mr and Mrs McKenzie Harcourt’s future Lome will be at Koiterangi, Westland.
