(By Telegraph—Press Association). T HOTTING CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, July 9. At the Trotting Conference, Rule 001 was replaced by the following:— “ |,f a horse, by breaking, at or near the winning post, gains thereby sucjli an advantage as to enable him to run into a place before any other horse or horses in the race, lie shall be placed behind such other horse or horses, and mav be placed behind any other liorsc* or horses in that race.”
