One of the strangest storie.s was told in a Police Court yesterday when Dan-* iel Willis, aged 34, was' charged with having a Inducted Kathleen Foster, aged 20. An examination of the .birth certificates of accused and the girl prove they were half brother and sister. „ Documents revealed the Oman's birth was registered when he ’was fifteen years old, and his sister was born after his mother’s marriage. Wallis and Foster were married last year. The girl’s mother declared from the box that when sent by her mother to register the birth of defendant, the; Registrar entered her name as the boy’s mother. •; .
Tlie magistrate remarked: ‘ I don’t believe you.” .
The abduction charge was dismissed. Tlie couple vrerp advised : to live apart until the matter was solved. .
